Why in the world would you be reading an article about why I and a few select writers create articles repeatedly on Medium? The answer is:

Content, Content, Content!

The number one reason why individuals fail online is because they keep publishing the same content. Let’s ignore the search engines for a moment and focus on the individual who reads your article.

Let’s assume you have an individual that has read one of your articles and found it interesting enough to follow you. Three weeks later that individual returns and sees the same content that was published on their first visit. What happens then? …

Creative artwork expressed through photography is one of the most beautiful forms of art a photographer can exhibit. It’s hard to believe that in 2021 there are still skeptics out there believing that photography is not a form of art. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Photography is definitely a form of art expressed through pictures.

The role of a landscape photographer is to record a scene that brings attention to the photograph. However, most photographers fail to capture that special moment to show what it really felt like to be out there surrounded by the beauty of nature.

A dedicated landscape photographer shows up at pre-dawn before the sun rises and awaits for the scene to transpire. It takes patience to watch for the scene to evolve, observing as the mood of the colors slowly begins to change.

On a recent trip to the Urbion National Game Reserve in Soria, a province in northern Spain, I had the pleasure of discovering one of the country’s most cherished gems. No, it wasn’t silver or gold, I’m talking about mushrooms, some of Spain’s most prized commodities.

On an early October morning, Maria and I packed our bags and headed to LaGuardia Airport in Queens, New York for a flight to Madrid, Spain. Maria, a good friend of mine is also a mycologist (the study of mushrooms and fungus) was born in Madrid, Spain and always wanted to visit that region.

A topic that repeatedly comes up during discussions is how most writers are capable to write hundreds of articles when others find it challenging to write just one article.

What most individuals don’t realize is that a goldmine of information is at their fingertips. I’m talking about the internet. It’s a place where information on any topic can be found. And the best part of it all is that most of the work has already been done for you.

Today, more than ever before, the internet has become the major source for new content. With that also comes the problem that with so much new content uploaded each day, someone most likely has already covered on the subject that you want to write about. However, all is not lost. Your job is to do more research on that subject and improve upon it in your own words. …

It’s been stated many times that you should “write about what you know”. It’s also been stated that following that course of action will condemn you to a life of boredom. That means no matter how hard you try, you’ll never advance beyond your current limitations. That doesn’t sound encouraging, does It?

It’s also been suggested that you should write about what you’re passionate about, something that has meaning to you. Remember, you’ll be spending a considerable amount of time researching, writing, rewriting, and editing your story. On the other hand, if you’re writing a story that you have no idea about, it will eventually drive you insane or push you over the edge. …

One of the major conflicts that creative writers struggle with is between their craft and profession. Quite honestly, a writer needs to earn money and would prefer to earn it from his profession.

Writers who work full time in order to support their families will find it difficult to make time to work on their craft. As a result, it leads them to be unmotivated and eventually giving up altogether.

So, how do you avoid burnout?

Well, for example, let’s take my profession. Besides writing books about stories I care the most about, I’ve also contributed to many other books and magazines, not necessarily in my field. …

What separates Berlin from other great world cities? Well, let’s begin with the Berliners themselves. Their friendliness and charm brings a certain element to the character of the city. Combine that with a mix of historical landmarks, colorful neighborhoods, and world-class shopping, you have a city that has made a remarkable recovery from the ashes of World War II.

So, let me take you on a tour through my Berlin to give you a glimpse of what this city is all about.

On an island in the southwestern part of Berlin on the Havel River is a peculiar little island known as the Pfaueninsel (“Peacock Island”). As the name suggests, this island is home to a flock of wild peacocks that have lived here for generations!

Attracting countless visitors every year, Garmisch offers a diverse and intoxicating experience that will leave you breathless. Many visitors to the region often try to squeeze in as much time as possible in order to to see as much as possible. Unfortunately, much is ignored because of not enough time and money while the absolute unique treasures end up hidden away. Don’t get me wrong! I’m just suggesting that visitors should dig a little deeper into the region’s hidden gems.
